Scottish Watches Podcast #179 : New Snoopy and Oris Roberto Clemente Watches Plus RedBar Global Meetup

This week we have a full goodie bag for you, as well as a “full” Oris Bear, but other than Mr Bears box we have the over arm cricket watch celebration, also from Oris as they celebrate and support the Roberto Clemente Humanitarian Foundation, via the power of selling new watches, and to be fair this one is a stunner.

Follow the Scottish Watches Instagram here

Global Redbar have a party but at the wrong time for London but do introduce 2 great ltd editions in partnership with Frederique Constant.

WatchTime Magazine have been the subject of this weeks IG hack, so go check out their 3 new posts, while Filippo Loreti try to get themselves in their own cheap brand of hot water by promising that their $200 dollar watches will “make money”

Federico has a go at Perrelet by pubishing a crackingly good video that is worth a watch.

and if your watch is worth anything perhaps you need Hodinkee Insurance? Is this a good idea or not?

Your watch collection more on the lower side, then check out the new Peanuts watches from Timex, but we visit Rolex in Glasgow as we are now above such things…NOT.

Then just to continue the phallic references in  the show we look at the new Ressence Type 3MC For The Prince Albert II Of Monaco Foundation, yeah Rikki went there.

Thats it for now enjoy the show!

Got into the horological hobby only a couple of short years ago; but got, as us Scots like to say, “baw deep” pretty quickly. Thanks to buying a lemon of a Rolex he spent hours researching why his watch wasn’t working and along the way gained an interest in what makes them tick. He now runs the Scottish Watches website and keeps cohort Rick in check on the twice weekly Scottish Watches podcast.
