Bovet 19Thirty The Bovet 19Thirty collection has been expanded for 2021 with the addition of a new model, housed in the brand’s distinctive Fleurier case. This model’s pièce de résistance is undoubtedly its rich crimson dial, enlivened with guilloché and juxtaposed with a sea of blackened Côtes de Genève, presented on a slightly lower level. Bovet is synonymous with making ultra-high-end watches, encompassing fine materials and high complications. Last year, the Swiss brand won the ‘Mechanical Exception Watch Prize’ at GPHG 2020 for its horological tour de force, the Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter 2. Housed in a 47.8mm sapphire case, this model emulates the sloped appearance of a writing desk. It is equipped with a double-sided flying tourbillon, a precision moon phase, an ingenious city disc and second time zone. Needless to say such excellence attracts commensurate pricing with the model retailing for CHF 355,000. The brand won a further GPHG prize with its Miss Audrey watch. In this instance, the dial is adorned with green guilloché, the bezel is embellished with diamonds and the case features the brand’s iconic crown and bow, positioned at noon. Interestingly, this timepiece is priced at CHF 20,500, a keen price considering its high-end execution.
